The Modern woman embraces her femininity. She does not have to apologize for being a woman, being beautiful and having a brain with a kick-ass personality.
The modern woman does not conform to the school of thought that says “she must be modest and not threaten the man.”
The modern woman seeks equality: She requests being recognized as one who is just as good as a man, she however accepts that men and women are different and celebrates it.
In the pendulum of equality, between working at home, staying at home, the types of careers, etc., she realizes that sometimes, other women may be the harshest critics (we still judge other women harshly), but she is fine with that.
A modern woman accepts that being a woman will probably be complicated and as a result, she doesn't judge other women for their choices.
Thus, I don't think men will be threatened or that will change--all the change just means women will continue to have to make tough choices, but it would be nice to do so without society, and other women putting in a box.
